The concept of HematologyTimes first began in 1980 when our publisher， Jonathan Wood， was editor of Oncology Times， a multisponsor medical newspaper for oncologists， currently published by Lippincott. At the time， the idea was to have a publication as equally dedicated to hematology as Oncology Times was to oncology. The concept changed as technology advanced， and the result was HematologyTimes.com™， an interactive online publication providing information relating to all aspects of hematology.
