Sonny Vu， CEO of Misfit Wearables. Previously， he has started and built companies most of my life and have been co-founder of Elemental Machines （life science， machine learning）， Misfit （wearables; acquired by Fossil Group for $260m）， AgaMatrix （diabetes， digital health）， and FireSpout （natural language processing， machine learning; acquired by Ask Jeeves）. Before doing startups， he worked at Microsoft Research in NLP under Kai-Fu Lee， worked on a PhD in Linguistics at MIT under Noam Chomsky， and studied Math & Linguistics at UIUC.
