Thomas Thomas

Mr. Thomas is a global executive with over 25 years of business development and general management experience in the electronics and specialty chemical industries. Prior to joining Accelergy， he spent over eight years in various executive management positions at Engelhard Corporation （acquired by BASF in June 2006）. Most recently， he was General Manager for Engelhard’s global chemical catalyst business serving the gas to liquids， syngas and petrochemical markets and also served as Vice President， Operations for Engelhard’s Process Technologies Group.Prior to Engelhard Mr. Thomas held leadership and management positions in Sales， Marketing， and Business Development within Honeywell’s Pharmaceutical Fine Chemicals business and FMC Corporation’s Lithium Division. Mr. Thomas also held key sales and sales management positions within Nalco Chemical Company and Unocal Chemicals Division.Mr. Thomas has extensive international commercial experience in Europe， and Asia-Pacific， including leading Engelhard’s acquisition and integration effort in Nanjing and being the primary liaison for FMC Lithium’s Japanese joint venture. He negotiated a new joint venture for FMC’s electronic materials business in Japan and was nominated to the joint venture’s Board of Directors.Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh， Pennsylvania.
