S. Eugene Choung

Mr Choung earned an MBA in Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago in 1993 and a BS in Management and Management Information Systems from the University of Connecticut in 1988. He was most recently the director of private equity for the University of Chicago Endowment and was responsible for managing all of the University’s Venture Capital， Corporate Finance and International Private Equity investment， which included nearly 200 limited partnerships globally， represent some 2500 portfolio companies and total commitments of $1.5 billion. Before joining the University of Chicago， he spent 5 years at He joined the Singapore office in 1997 to head the firm’s Asia Energy Research team. Prior to Morgan Stanley， he served as a management consultant for a number of firms globally， culminating his 8-year consulting career with Booz-Allen & Hamilton in Singapore. At present Mr Choung is the Managing Director of Emerald Hill.
