John Chen

John holds a bachelor degree in electrical engineering from City College of New York and a master degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University. John Chen joined GS-Solar （Cayman） Company Limited as CFO in June 2008. John started as a vice president at the investment banking department at Bear Stearns Asia Limited in February 2000 and was promoted to senior managing director in 2007 responsible for corporate finance for private enterprises in China and Hong Kong. From 1995 to 2000， John was a vice president at Chase Manhattan Bank’s telecommunications， media and technology corporate finance group in Hong Kong focusing on project and corporate finance， and corporate advisory for telecom and technology companies in Asia. Previously， he was Senior Technical Consultant at Lucent Technologies in Hong Kong and at AT&T Bell Laboratories from 1990 to 1995.
