Fong Chun Hoe

Mr Fong holds an Honours degree in Electronics Engineering， a Masters of Science degree （Computers & Control） and an MBA （Marketing & Finance） from the National University of Singapore.

Mr Fong was appointed as the Group Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer in January 2008. He spearheads the Group’s research， development， exploration of new membrane applications， product development and commercialisation of technology. He also oversees manufacturing， corporate supply chain， environmental health and safety， information technology and quality functions. He joined Hyflux in 2007 as Senior Vice President， Chief Technology Officer. He also oversees the development of the residential water products through the Hyflux-Marmon Development Centre， a joint venture between Hyflux and Marmon Water.

Mr Fong brings to the company more than 25 years of expertise and leadership in technology， manufacturing and commercial positions in multinational settings including Hewlett-Packard and General Electric， where he was responsible for bringing products and new technology to the market. He was responsible for starting up a number of business units and initiatives in Asia， the most notable being the startup of the GE Ultrasound Business in China in the late 1990s and bringing it to the number one position in three years.
