Lee Beng Cheng

Lee Beng Cheng holds a Bachelor of Science （Engineering） First Class Honours and a Master of Science （Engineering） from the Univer sity of Leeds in the United Kingdom. Mr Lee held various positions within the Promet group of companies from 1978 to 1987， such as the managing director of the Energy Division and the alternate director of Malaysian-listed Promet Berhad and the managing director of Hong Kong-listed Promet Petroleum Ltd， and led the group’s efforts into exploration and production drilling in the region including several enhanced oil-recovery programs. He was the director in charge of group business development in Sembawang Holdings Pte Ltd. from 1987 to 1992. He served as the managing director and subsequently president of Sembawang Maritime Ltd. between 1992 and 2000. Mr Lee is Independent Director of Sky China Petroleum Services Limited and was appointed to Group’s Board in 2005-10. Mr Lee is a director of China Petrotech Holdings Limited， KS Energy Services Limited and CH Offshore Ltd， all of which are listed on the SGX-ST. He is also the executive director of T.S. Lee & Sons Pte. Ltd.， an investment holding company in Singapore. He is also a member of the Institute of Engineers， Singapore， the Singapore Institute of Management and the Singapore Institute of Directors.
