David Cao’s extensive technology background and vision of the outsourcing industry complement the efforts that the company has been making to define its leadership in outsourcing and consulting. He is an experienced entrepreneur， seasoned executive， and a technical leader who has also been serving as the visionary mentor to the company’s Board as it formulates corporate strategy.

Before KnowledgeSurf， he served as CEO and President of Silicon Valley Globalsourcing Institute， a training organization targeting at helping engineers work more effective in an outsourcing environment. He also served as Vice President of Engineering in PlayPhone， a leading mobile entertainment startup where he managed the global engineering operation. Cao was also on staff or consult at companies like Oracle e-Travel， IBM， Sun Microsystems， Rational， Reuters， and so on. Besides， he has contributed to or penned several publications in the database and Internet computing areas. Cao holds a Master of Science in computer networking from Xidian University.
