Dr Jinxiang （Gene） Liu joined C2 Microsystems as President and CEO in 2006. Prior to joining C2， Dr Liu was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the DVD division and General Manager of the Asia Pacific region of Zoran， a Nasdaq listed company. He founded Zoran’s Chinese subsidiary in 1997 and its Asia Pacific subsidiary in 2000. During his tenure， Zoran’s APAC annual revenue grew to more than $400M and its revenue from DVD products to more than $250M annually. Before joining Zoran， Dr Liu was a research scientist at Park Scientific Instruments.
Dr Liu has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Beijing University and a Ph.D from the University of Minnesota.
