Mr. Arie Mientkavich serves as Vice Chairman of the IDB Group. He has had a very rich and varied career both as a legal counsel and senior executive spanning almost 40 years. He serves also as the Deputy Chairman of Gazit-Globe Ltd and as chairman of Gazit Globe Israel （Development） Ltd.
In the past， Mr. Mientkavich served for more than eight years as Chairman of the Board of Israel Discount Bank. He also served as chairman of a number of Bank subsidiaries including Israel Discount Bank， New York， Mercantile Discount Bank and Israel Discount Capital Markets & Investments Ltd. During the years 1987-97， Mr. Mientkavich served as the active Chairman of the Israel Securities Authority.
Mr. Mientkavich holds degrees in Political Science and Law from the Hebrew University， Jerusalem.
