Alan has twenty years of experience in financial and investment management. Prior to joining Balanced Asset Management， Alan worked for seven years at McDonald Investments. At McDonald he worked with individual clients to develop financial planning and investment strategies. While at McDonald he also served as the Great Lakes Regional Consultant for the Financial Planning Services group.
Prior to McDonald， Alan was affiliated for four years with Cambridge Advisors – based in Ann Arbor， MI.
From 1986 to 1996 he was an Accounting and Financial Manager with Allstate Insurance Company in Northbrook， IL. He is a graduate of Michigan State University/JMC with a degree in Economics.
His education includes significant MBA course work at DePaul University and Case Western University.
