Russell O‘Brien

Russell O‘Brien is Director， Investor Relations of FLAG Capital Management， LLC. Prior to joining FLAG in 2011， Russell was Managing Director， Head of Institutional Sales & Consultant Relations at Nexar Capital Management in New York City. Prior to Nexar， he was a Director of Alternative Investments at Russell Investments， responsible for advancing the firm’s alternative investment initiatives by providing institutional investors with advice and solutions regarding their absolute return exposure. Prior to Russell Investments， he was Head of Institutional Sales and Marketing in North America for Credit Suisse’s transition management business.

In his 23 year career， Russell has developed significant relationships with endowments and foundations， corporations， public funds and Taft Hartley organizations， as well as leading consulting firms. His career also includes senior level positions at David L. Babson & Co. and State Street Global Advisors. He focuses on CT， nvestor Relations. He received his BA from Tufts University and he received his JD from Suffolk University Law School.
