Hideyuki Fred Omokaw

Hideyuki Fred Omokawa is a President & CEO in FGI Capital Partners， Inc. Fred started his career in 1986 at Nikko Securities where he acted as a key member of various task forces for business alliances and M&A deals including establishment of Nikko Salomon Smith Barney （now Nikko Citigroup） and Nikko Beans Securities （now Monex）. In 1998， he assumed Chief Operating Officer of Nikko Beans and then became head of corporate planning / business development of Nikko Cordial Corporation & Nikko Cordial Securities to manage business planning and development. In 2005， Fred joined Goldman Sachs as Chief of Staff for the co-presidents in Tokyo and Managing Director. He joined OG Investment in 2008 as President & CEO and founded OGI Capital Partners. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from Hitotsubashi University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
