William Kah Kok Ong

William Kah Kok Ong joined Tishman Speyer in 2006 and is responsible for Tishman Speyer's operations in Chengdu， including project development and acquisition. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer， Mr. Ong was the general manager of Shanghai and representative of Chengdu for Keppel Land. Mr. Ong served at Keppel Land from 2001 to 2006 and was responsible for overseeing the development and management of four residential projects in Shanghai and two residential projects in Chengdu representing an aggregate space of 400，000 sqm and 1.16 million sqm， respectively. Previously， Mr. Ong worked as a general director and senior property development manager at Centrepoint Properties Ltd from 1996 to 2001 in Vietnam and Singapore. While at Centrepoint， Mr. Ong was involved with two projects including a prime office and retail building in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. From 1992 to 1996， Mr. Ong worked as the general manager of Serrano Vietnam Ltd， a family-owned business concentrating on the manufacturing and sales of furniture for homes， offices and hotels. Mr. Ong began his career as a manager for CB Richard Ellis in Singapore. He speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and English. Mr. Ong graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a BBA in real estate and finance.
