Mec Kot

Mec Kot， a member of General Atlantic's Resources Group， evaluates prospective investments and provides finance and operations support to GA’s portfolio companies in the greater China region.

Mec was originally with GA from 2008 until 2011， when he was named head of Corporate Finance at Zhongsheng Group. He returned to GA in 2013. Before first joining GA， Mec was the Deputy Controller for Focus Media Group， China’s lifestyle targeted interactive digital media network. Previously， he gained broad corporate finance experience across industries， including at Harbour Networks， Gome Electrical Appliances Group and Minsheng Education. Mec began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers， working with Big Four accounting firms for more than eight years.

Mec is a graduate of Chinese University of Hong Kong， where he earned his Bachelor degree in Professional Accountancy in 1996.
