She started out her career as the founder and CEO of a silicon and plastic production and manufacturing company in 2003. Three years later， she joined Samsung Electronics and was in charge of sourcing new technology companies and contracts. In 2010， she joined the technology strategy department under the CTO group in LG Electronics， responsible for tech-venture investments and mergers & acquisitions. So-Hee was awarded the LG R&D award from the LG group chairman for her outstanding investment decisions in promoting flash memory technology.
