Jie Qin is one of the co-founders of The9 and is also a member of the board of directors. Mr. Qin has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer since March 2004. Prior to that， he had served at a number of positions at The9， including as the chief operating officer. Prior to founding The9， Mr. Qin co-founded Flagholder New Technology Co. in 1998 and served as its director from 1998 to 1999.
