Adam Bornstein

Adam is a Senior Vice President at CDIB Capital’s Hong Kong office， where he shares responsibilities for private equity fund investments and direct/co-investments in private companies in Australia， India， and Greater China. Prior CDIB Capital， Adam founded Ymer Venture Capital Asia， an early stage venture capital fund located in Shanghai， where he focused on IT-enabled services in the multi-media， gaming， consumer services， and telecom verticals.

As an investor and former director of Hong-Kong based Boom Securities ， Adam played a key role in Boom’s early development into one of Asia’s leading web-based brokerages. He has also consulted for Booz Allen & Hamilton and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Adam serves on the Boards of TouchMedia International Holdings and Dongsheng Chemphy Limited as well as on the advisory board of Samara Capital.

Adam holds an MBA from Boston University Graduate School of Management and a BA from American University School of International Service.
