Ted Meyer

Ted Meyer has served as Foundation Capital’s financial officer since the firm’s inception in 1996. Prior to that， he served as CFO at Merrill， Pickard， Anderson & Eyre for eight years. Ted has helped these two VC firms raise well over $3 billion， and has played an active role in supporting their portfolio companies， several of which have returned over twenty times their original investment. Before Merrill， Pickard， Ted operated as CFO at Priam， Silicon Solutions， and Trademark， and also held a variety of financial management positions at Hewlett-Packard and Price Waterhouse.

Ted enjoys skiing （both water and snow） and participates avidly in improvement projects on his family’s 60-year-young home. He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business， where he earned distinction as an Arjay Miller Scholar， and a BA in Economics from Stanford.
