Andy Goldfarb

As the Co-Founder and Executive Managing Director of Globespan， Andy sources new investment opportunities， evaluates and negotiates investments， and serves on the boards of portfolio companies. The prestigious Forbes Midas List has recognized Andy as one of the Top 100 Technology Deal Makers in 2006 and 2007 （with a ranking of 60 in 2007）. He was also included on Boston Business Journal’s 40 under 40 List in 2007.

Andy serves on the boards of Akorri， Hatteras Networks， Incipient， Quattro Wireless and Vericept Corporation. Andy previously led or served on the board for the team’s investments in Aptis Communications. Andy was the Senior Managing Director of JAFCO Ventures， where he opened the Boston office in 1997. He built JAFCO’s presence on the east coast and， along with Barry Schiffman， led the seamless transition and spinout of Globespan Capital from JAFCO Ventures in 2003.

Andy earned an AB degree in East Asian Studies and Economics， magna cum laude， from Harvard College and an MBA， with distinction， from Harvard Business School. He lives in Boston with his wife and two children. Andy serves on the Board of Trustees of Harvard Business School’s Arthur Rock Center for Entrepreneurship and is a National Commissioner for the Anti-Defamation league. He has also served on the Board of Trustees of the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston.
