Irene Liu

Irene Liu is a principal in the Retail & Consumer team of Apax Partners LLP. She joined Apax Partners in 2009 and is currently based in China. Her recent Apax deal experience includes SouFun.com， a leading real estate online portal in China.

Prior to joining Apax Partners， Irene was a member of Morgan Stanley's Mergers， Acquisitions and Restructuring Group， where she advised clients on Asian M&A and financing transactions. She also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company's Shanghai and New York offices， where she advised clients in retail and consumer and other industries.

Irene holds an MBA from Harvard Business School， an MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics， and a BA in International Economics from Fudan University.
