Vincent Xiang

Vincent Xiang joins Burrill from Franklin Templeton Investments， where he served as vice president and portfolio manager/analyst， investing in global life science companies at all stages since 2004. Previously， Mr. Xiang was vice president of business development at Genyous， a biotech start-up based in China and the United States. He worked as director of venture investment at Acacia Research， and as associate at BioAdvance， a healthcare VC fund. He was an Irvington Fellow at Skirball Center and licensed his patented technology to Millennium Pharmaceutical for royalty payments. Vincent began his career at Shanghai Biological Product Corporation in China. He has focused on life science industry for 20 years.

Mr. Xiang received his Ph.D. in molecular biology in four years with honors from SUNY at Stony Brook. He obtained his MBA from the Wharton School. He graduated from Fudan University in China with a bachelor’s degree in immunology and microbiology. He is a founding member of BayHelix Group， a network of Chinese executives who strive to bridge business and life sciences， and the East and the West.
