Lan Qian

Lan Qian is Executive Director of Sagamore Investments.

Since joining the firm， Lan has been involved in all aspects of China private equity and venture capital fund investments. Lan was previously a Director at Cliffwater LLC in the U.S.， where she led the private equity and venture capital fund investments in Asia and was also responsible for private equity and venture capital fund investments in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to that， Lan was an Associate at Ennis Knupp + Associates， an investment consulting firm based in Chicago， where she oversaw private equity consulting services for institutional investors. Earlier in her career， Lan spent four years at ABN AMRO Asia as an equity analyst in Shanghai. Lan is a CFA charter-holder. She received a BA in English from Fudan University in China and obtained her MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Lan was born in China and is fluent in English and Mandarin.
