David J. Spencer holds a BS from Comell University， an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania， an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and he has graduated several of GE’s most senior Executive Education training courses. David J. Spencer has been living， working and structuring investments across Asia since 1991. He joined General Electric in 1997 as a business development leader and subsequently founded and led GE’s Financial Restructuring Group in Asia， where he and his team completed over $7 billion in highly constructed transactions in Thailand， Korea and Taiwan after the Asia Financial Crisis. Prior to joining GE Capital， he spent two years as a strategic management consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton in Singapore. At present he is the Managing Director of Emerald Hill.
