Ms Yang holds an Honours degree in Law from the National University of Singapore and was called to the Singapore Bar in 1991.
Ms Yang joined the Hyflux Group in 2004 and was appointed Senior Vice President， Legal in 2005. Ms Yang advises the Group’s business units across various jurisdictions and the Group’s senior management on all legal， contractual， insurance matters as well as overall risk mitigation.
She supervises the legal process of all investment transactions from structuring， leading negotiations， documentation， compliance， dispute resolutions， enforcement to continuous client relationship management.
Ms Yang also oversees protection of the Group’s intellectual property， including prosecution and defence of the Group’s patents and trademarks.
Ms Yang brings to the Company more than 17 years of practical and in-house experience and she is effectively bilingual in Chinese and English.
