Mark Harris has served as a Managing Director of Northgate since its inception. Prior to Northgate， Mark’s immersion into venture capital investing was at New Enterprise Associates and as an angel investor to a mix of Bay Area-based companies. He currently serves an advisory board member to several top private equity funds.
Prior to finance， Mark played four years in the National Football League with the San Francisco Forty-Niners.
Mark serves on the advisory board of Ida Therm LLC， an Idaho-based geo-thermal venture.
Mark earned his BS in Psychology from Stanford University where he excelled athletically and academically， receiving All-Pac 10 athletic and academic honors.
