Mark D. Cordes

Mark D. Cordes is a Principal of Audax Group for Financing in the Private Equity group. Previously， Mr. Cordes was one of the founding Managing Directors of NewStar Financial， Inc. and focused on providing customized financing solutions to middle market companies. Prior to NewStar， Mr. Cordes spent seven years in FleetBoston’s Financial Sponsor Group in Boston and five years in Bank of America’s Corporate Banking Group in Chicago. Mr. Cordes received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.S. from Babson College.
