Ong Tiong Seng

Ong Tiong Seng graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree （Banking and Finance） from the University of Canberra in 1992 and a Masters of Economics Degree from Macquarie University， Australia in 1993. Mr Ong worked with the Economic Development Board （“EDB”） from 1994 to 1997. Thereafter， he was the director of operations at Nippon Machine Tools Pte Ltd， a company in the aerospace industry， from 1997 to 2000. Mr Ong was appointed as an Independent Director of Snowcity Internetional Holdings Limited on 2004-05-24. Mr Ong was appointed as an Independent Director of Reyoung Pharmaceutical Holding Limited on 2005-04-07. Mr Ong is currently the managing director of Cogent Financial Group （HK） Limited， an investment fund company， where he is responsible for venture capital investments and providing advisory services on mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings. Mr Ong is also an independent director of four companies listed on SGX-ST namely， Pine Agritech Limited， China Paper Holdings Limited， Fibrechem Technologies Limited and China Transcom Technologies Limited.
