Akihiko Yasuda

Akihiko Yasuda is a Managing Director of Asia Alternatives and is based in the Hong Kong office. He has primary responsibility for the Firm’s investments in Japan. Mr. Yasuda is also on the Firm’s Investment Committee.

Mr. Yasuda has over 20 years of professional experience in the areas of corporate finance， leveraged finance， real estate finance， fixed income investing， and private equity investing. Prior to joining Asia Alternatives， he was an Executive Director and Head of Private Equity at The Sumitomo Trust Finance （H.K.） Limited， an investment advisory arm of The Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co.， Ltd. （“Sumitomo Trust”）. Mr. Yasuda managed the global private equity fund investment advisory group in Hong Kong with over $1 billion of committed capital for the bank’s pension clients as well as the parent bank proprietary investments.
