Leong Koon Weng

Leong Koon Weng holds a Bachelor of Arts degree （majoring in Economics） and a Bachelor of Social Science （Honours） degree from the National University of Singapore. He is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Mr Leong Koon Weng has 18 years of experience in corporate banking in both foreign and local banks. In 1996-05， he joined Keppel Bank of Singapore Limited which merged with Tat Lee Bank Ltd in 1999 and subsequently with Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited （“OCBC”） in 2002. During his term with OCBC， he was the Vice President of Enterprise Banking in OCBC heading a team that extended credit facilities to the electronics industry in Singapore. He joined Gates Electronics Limited in 2003. He also held positions with ABN Amro Bank N.V.， American Express Bank， Security Pacific National Bank （merged with Bank of America） and Overseas Union Bank Limited.

Mr Leong Koon Weng was appointed as an Independent Director of FM Holdings Limitedon 2005-03-25. He is currently an executive director of Gates Electronics Limited， a company listed on the SGX-Sesdaq.
