Vincent L.C. Fong

Vincent L.C. Fong has authored 10 U.S. patents on file， with 4 additional patents pending. He holds a M.S.E.E. degree from University of Missouri and a B.S. degree in Physics from Southwest Missouri State University. A 25 year veteran of the semiconductor industry， Mr. Fong worked in the high voltage design utilizing BCD， BiCMOS， CMOS， and DMOS technologies， where he developed commercially successful EL drivers， LED drivers， and power management ICs at several leading Silicon Valley companies. Mr. Fong had previously served as Design Director in Supertex’ Silicon Valley headquarters and as the General Manager of its Hong Kong Design Center for nine years. He was in charge of all the product development and IC design at Supertex， and was credited for its highly successful EL drivers which became the de facto standard used in all the Motorola RAZR slim-phones as well as similar phones by Samung and LG. Mr. Fong also served in design management roles at various companies， including Micrel， Excel， Samsung， Hyundai， National Semiconductor and Texas Instruments. Mr. Fong is now the Vice President of Engineering of Power Analog Microelectronics， Inc..
