Don Brooks

Donald W. Brooks is the Co-Founder， Chairman and Special Partner of KLM Capital Management Co.， Ltd.. Don's career as a corporate executive in the semiconductor industry has spanned more than 30 years. From 1991 to 1997 he served as President of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company （NYSE: TSM and TSE: 2330）. Don shepherded its growth from an early stage company to become listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 1994， and TSMC has since become the world's largest independent semiconductor foundry with a market capitalization of over US$15 billion. Don previously was President of Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation and Vice President of Texas Instruments. Under his management Texas Instruments developed a reputation as a leading supplier of MOS memories. He was a board member of United Microelectronics Corporation of Taiwan （NYSE: UMC and TSE: 2303） and previously served as its President and co-Chief Executive Officer.

Don served on the boards of a number of KLM portfolio companies including Current Ventures Group， Focused Semiconductor， Extreme Devices， GCS， JemPac， ShareWave， Syntricity， Tmanage and UMC（USC）. He is currently the Chairman of Globitech Inc.

Don received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.
