Shiong Tan

Shiong Tan is Principal in the Corporate Private Equity Group based in Hong Kong. Since joining Blackstone Mr. Tan has been involved in analyzing investments in various industries.

Before joining Blackstone in 2007， Mr. Tan was based in Japan as a Vice President at Ripplewood Holdings where he led transaction evaluation and execution of private equity investments in the automotive， media and technology sectors in Japan and the US. Prior to that， Mr. Tan was Managing Director and head of Intel Capital’s investment operations in Japan. He started his career as an Associate at Boston Consulting Group.

Mr. Tan received a Bachelor of Laws （Honors） and Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne， Australia.
