William D. LaFayette is the Chief Financial Officer of Asia Alternatives. He co-leads Asia Alternatives’ San Francisco office， which serves as the Firm’s base for investor services， marketing， and corporate financial management. Mr. LaFayette has primary responsibility for the Firm’s financial， tax， and fund reporting， as well as investor relations assistance. Mr. LaFayette also leads the accounting and tax due diligence for all investments.
Prior to joining Asia Alternatives， Mr. LaFayette had over 10 years of private equity experience. Mr. LaFayette founded a private equity and venture capital consulting firm in 2002 which specializes in providing financial and tax advice to both large and small private equity and venture capital firms.
Mr. LaFayette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California and is a California Certified Public Accountant.
