Mr. Yip earned a BS Double Degree in Finance and Accounting Management from Indiana University Bloomington. Tommy Yip brings over 11 years of Asian venture capital and private equity research experience to Emerald Hill. His responsibilities include investment sourcing， due diligence and fund monitoring， as well as servicing of Emerald Hill’s partners. Before joining Emerald Hill， he spent 8 years as vice president and head of research at Asian Venture Capital Journal Group Ltd. Mr. Yip was appointed China chief representative in 2005 and led AVCJ’s strategic development effort in China. He is a well-regarded analyst in the industry and has been quoted in a number of major financial publications. At present Mr Yip is the Principle of Emerald Hill.
