Ms Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws （Hons） degree and she was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
Ms Tan joined the Hyflux Group in 2007 and is the Director， Legal （Corporate Finance） of Hyflux. She advises the Group on mergers and acquisitions， project finance， equity and debt financing， treasury matters， and other finance-related transactions， and formulates legal policies and procedures.
Prior to her appointment at Hyflux， Ms Tan was the Vice President， Legal and Company Secretary of Hyflux Water Trust Management， the Trustee-Manager of Hyflux Water Trust which was listed on the Singapore Exchange in December 2007.
Ms Tan has regional working experience on wide-ranging matters， including mergers and acquisitions transactions， joint ventures and infrastructure projects in the People’s Republic of China and the Middle East. Ms Tan was a practicing lawyer prior to being an in-house legal counsel.
