Richard L. Gray

Richard L. Gray has eight U.S. patents on file， with 4 additional patents pending. Mr. Gray holds a B.S.E.E. degree from U.C. Berkeley. With over 20 years of analog and power management IC design experience， Mr. Gray heads up the company’s R&D office in Santa Clara， California. He was most recently the president of his own IC design consulting company， involved in design projects for PAM and several companies in both the U.S. and Taiwan. Prior to that， Mr. Gray was the General Manager of the U.S. R&D Center for Analog Micro Electronics （AME）， where he managed a team of designers and layout engineers to deliver various power management ICs， including CCFL backlight controllers， references， multiple LDOs， shunt regulator， boost and buck regulators. His successful delivery of these volume production products resulted in the public listing of AME in Taiwan. Mr. Gray also held other technical design positions at Maxim Integrated Products， Elantec， and Teledyne. Mr. Gray is now the Director of IC Design of Power Analog Microelectronics， Inc..
