Gaurav Gairola

Gaurav Gairola is a Senior Associate in the Mumbai office on the Asia Mezzanine team. Prior to joining Darby in August 2007， Mr. Gairola worked at Yes Bank Ltd. （YBL） for 2 years as Senior Manager， Emerging Corporates. Among his responsibilities， he structured and screened deals through early stage involvement with potential clients， created processes for commodity finance programs， and analyzed deals originating in North India involving financial and industry analysis. Prior to YBL， he worked for GE Commercial Finance （2003 - 2005）， the largest non-banking finance company in India with operations in corporate lending， commercial vehicle finance， and healthcare equipment finance. As Assistant Manager in Structured Finance， he performed the credit assessment of transactions across industries and explored investment opportunities in the road infrastructure and commercial real estate sector. Mr. Gairola earned his MBA from Indian Institute of Management， Ahmedabad （2003） and an engineering degree from the Delhi University （2001）.
