Rustom Cowasjee

Rustom Cowasjee is Managing Director Design and Construction- Washington DC.

Mr. Cowasjee is responsible for the development， design， and construction of the Washington DC portfolio. Since joining Tishman Speyer in 1999， he has been responsible for the design and construction of Tishman Speyer projects across the Washington DC metropolitan area， Chicago， Philadelphia， Boston， and India， taking on leadership roles in the NOMA project， Woodland Park， 1099 New York Avenue， and One Metro Center in Washington DC， as well as WaveRock and the Tellapur township project in India. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer， Mr. Cowasjee worked for London and Leeds Development Corporation， where he led design and construction for the company’s commercial office portfolio and the Hilton International Hotels portfolio in the Americas. Mr. Cowasjee spent eight years as an architect for I.M. Pei & Partners in New York. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Cornell University and a master's degree in architecture and urban design from The Graduate School of Design at Harvard University.
