Charles A. DeBenedittis is Senior Managing Director Senior Advisor， Design and Construction

Prior to his current advisory role， Mr. DeBenedittis directed Tishman Speyer's design and construction activities worldwide since the company's founding in 1978. Among the many developments were Tishman Speyer's former headquarters building at 520 Madison Avenue， the Messeturm development in Frankfurt， Germany， and the Sony Center project in Berlin， Germany. Prior to that time， Mr. DeBenedittis was Senior Vice President in charge of design and construction at Tishman Realty & Construction Co.， Inc. during which time， the company constructed the John Hancock Tower in Chicago， the World Trade Center in New York， the Renaissance Center in Detroit， and Tishman's own portfolio of buildings in New York and in major cities across the United States.

Mr. DeBenedittis has been a member of the National Academy of Construction， the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat， the National Building Museum， the Board of Trustees of Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center， the Board of the Catholic Health Care System， a Fellow of The American Society of Civil Engineers， and has received numerous awards in connection with his professional and public activities. Mr. DeBenedittis graduated magna cum laude from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn， after which he served as an officer in the US Army Corps of Engineers in wartime Korea. Mr. DeBenedittis is a licensed Professional Engineer.
