Mr. McCloskey holds a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and an AB in Economics and Chemistry from Vassar College with both general and departmental honors. Alexander I. McCloskey brings four years of institutional investment and research experience to Emerald Hill， most of it in Asia and the emerging markets. His responsibilities include investment sourcing， due diligence and fund monitoring， as well as servicing of Emerald Hill’s limited partners. He was most recently an Associate in the Private Investment Group at DUMAC， LLC， the $13 billion investment management arm of Duke University. Before joining DUMAC， Mr McCloskey was an Associate with CINCS， Inc.， a boutique international development organization in New York. At present Mr. McCloskey is an Associate of Emerald Hill.
