T. Chan

T. Chan has more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor business. Most recently， he was the Senior Vice Present of Engineering at Tzero Technology， a wireless UWB company focused on HD wireless video streaming. From 1997 to 2006， Chan was with Genesis Microchip； an industry leader in LCD monitor， image processing and analog/digital TV controller chip. As Senior Vice President of Engineering of Genesis， Chan managed a group of 200+ engineers worldwide and was responsible for the entire product development team. During his tenure， Genesis grew its revenue from $10 million to over $270 million. Prior to Genesis Microchip， Chan held various design management positions at Cirrus Logic， S3， Chips & Technologies， LSI Logic， Intel and Bell Labs. Chan owns 11 US patents in the areas of computer architecture， mixed-signal design and MPEG technologies.

Chan received his BS degree from National Taiwan University， MS degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook and Ph.D from the University of Arizona.
