Frederic Garnier

Frederic Garnier joined Tishman Speyer in 2008 as a managing director for the Emerging Markets Group with responsibility for directing and supporting the group’s financing and related activities. In this role， Mr. Garnier liaisons with the regional teams in Brazil， India and China and the centralized accounting and tax teams in New York， where he is based. Mr. Garnier also leads portfolio management and investor relations for all of Tishman Speyer's investments in China and Brazil. Mr. Garnier has extensive international exposure and real estate finance experience， including deal structuring， debt sourcing， currency hedging， tax and accounting. Previously， Mr. Garnier was with the real estate group at Morgan Stanley for nine years. While based New York， he was responsible for foreign exchange and interest rate risk management for the real estate group and was treasurer for Special Situations Fund III. Prior to this he was based in London and Paris， where he was CFO for Special Situations Fund II with responsibility for acquisitions financing， and legal and tax structuring of real estate investments across France， Spain， Italy， Germany， and the UK. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley， Mr. Garnier spent two years as a financial controller with Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust. Mr. Garnier graduated from University Paris IX Dauphine with a degree in financial auditing.
