JZ Fang joined Tishman Speyer in 2006 and is responsible for the firm’s design and construction activities in China. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, Mr. Fang served as a project manager for Hang Lung Properties in Hong Kong and Shanghai from 1995 to 2006. While at Hang Lung, Mr. Fang oversaw the design, development and construction of numerous high-end projects, including Plaza 66 and Grand Gateway Phase I in Shanghai, two of the most prestigious commercial properties in China. Additionally, Mr. Fang was responsible for the construction management of a major high-rise residential complex on top of the Kowloon Airport Express Station in Hong Kong. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Fang worked as a deputy director for the Asian Group of Stubbins Associates, an architectural firm based in the United States. Mr. Fang also served as a project architect and project designer for B. Thompson Associates and Keyes Associates. Mr. Fang is a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and is also fluent in English. He graduated from State University of New York and holds a master’s degree in architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
